Probably recorded in 1992, this is the first of many tracks recorded with London based producer Mony Arovo during my 6 years living in England. Mony was the first producer that tapped into the American living in London really wants to sing, not just rap. And though this, our first effort reflects how Mony came to know me (session rapper), our later productions included more singing and diverse genres of music. This track (and mostly the dance performance set to it) is what secured my space to open for C&C Music Factory on the European leg of one of their tours. I wish camera phones/YouTube existed then because my dancers and I worked this song in performance hundreds of times. The crowds ate it up and I would love to see a video of 23 year old me performing this song.
