I had my family in mind when I wrote & recorded this song. I was thinking of my daughter and her Mom when I wrote the lyrics. It was a time I believed in monogamy and commitments lasting forever. And though there weren't many examples of such a love around me, it was the kind of love we heard about in fairytales that I wanted to create in my life. "Fairytales" samples a popular RnB classic (can you figure it out?) which sets the backdrop for again, one of my favorite songs ever recorded. I sound young in this song; concept and vocals. Here's to love like in fairytales!
