In 2004, I released my most explicit EP ASS: The Single & Remixes. A total activist move after hearing Missy Elliott's major label release of "Pussy, Don't Fail Me Now", enough was enough! Hearing too many record executives tell me that I was "too out" for mainstream yet every morning on Atlanta top rated radio station, Missy's new single was being played - ENOUGH WAS ENOUGH! "ASS" was my response that LGBT people too deserved music that speaks directly of and to their experiences. This remix was delivered by my online husband Kevin D. Hoover. We met online and I sent him the stripped vocals to my single "Ass". This is my favorite of the 2 club mixes he sent back to me.
